    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I am restoring a 1978 skybolt. I am reworking some things that need improving and updating. First, are there standard dimensions for the shapes for front and rear turtle deck formers? If so, where would I find them? Second, I am considering installing the front former at same angle as the rear seat back. It looks it would aid entering and exiting the cockpit and increase distance between the pilot's face and the instrument panel. Would appreciate some input. Thanks.
