I mounted my Prestolite starter that came with my IO-540 core only to find out thet the "nose" of the starter comes VERY close to my nose bowl. I had planned on going with a Skytec 149NL and got looking at pics of them and it doesn't appear that they have same type of nose on them. In fact, no nose at all.

Could I be that lucky that going with this starter I will have zero issues with clearance or am I missing something here. Anyone have a pic of their Skytec installation?

Bob
