Hi
I wish to line up the slave strut with the I strut. In this area, the plywood crush plates are1/4" thick each side of the spars, but the aileron hinge and the bellcranck bracket need 1/8" plywood crush plate.I think that if I couldglu 1/8" plywood crush plate on theback of the rear spar, for the aileron hinge;then add a 1/8" plywood to the 1/4" crush plate on the front of the spar...Easy to do,and Iget the same strength;but the bellcranck bracket will be bolded on 3/8" thick crush plate...far from the original 1/8".
What could be the key to do that right.
Cheers.
