Our Skybolt project has a type of smoke system that I've never seen before. Its a Christen system that incorporates a compilation of rubber and aluminum tubing that runs from the engine compartment, through the firewall, and along the inside of the fuselage all the way back to the tail wheel area where it exits out of the plane. I don't see any function by which the oil is injected into the exhaust, which I had always presumed was the basis by which all smoke systems operated.

Can anyone enlighten me on how this system functions? Thanks!
