    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

At long last the inspection is complete. I asked the IA, he did not know and he is older than Methuselah's dog, so I will ask you. My altimeter is the usual at first glance. Around the perimeter is a small triangle. The face is two pieces of metal. The outer ring has the normal numbers and is a weird green. The center is the normal black. A slot is formed between these two piece where another small triangle resides. When the barometer knob is turned there triangles travel in the opposite direction of the normal hands. What is the purpose of these triangles?
