Does anyone have any solid works files for cleaveland rims for the pitts S2B. I think it would actually be cheaper to carve it out of wax and have one cast than the thousands of dollars they want for a rim.
Does this site have a solid works repository for parts that are grossly inflated in price to help defray some of the fleecing going on in aviation.
I have also heard flying wires are another item, could someone have a mold cast that they can manually pull a heated piece of stainless steel through to get the flat shape then just send it out to have the threads rolled. I have not got a price on the flying wires but was reading that they also cost thousands.
