Folks I am sorry to report but there has been an incident at the Castroville TX airport... Chris and his Baby Great Lakes were involved in a crash on the runway... Some reports say he was on the ground rolling and a main wheel went in to a hole.. The plane went up on it's nose very hard and one report says a landing gear strut penetrated the fuel tank, either way a fuel fire broke out immediately.. .Chris managed to get out of the plane on his own, Paramedics found him near the plane. Reportedly he has severe burns on his hands and lower legs... He is in serious condition in the hospital now... News4SA. in San Antonio has the initial story on their web site. Incident happened yesterday about 1:30pm... Our thoughts and prayers for Chris and his wife and family.
