    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have about 10 gallons of fuel on board when I roll inverted for less than 10 seconds. Within seconds of rolling upright the engine coughs and loses a couple of hundred rpms, momentarily. Normal ops follow as long as I stay positive g's. This happened twice before I returned to the airport.
My thought is it's the flop tube and to confirm before I pull it I'm going to top off the tank and see if I can duplicate. If it doesn't run rough, my assumption is that the pick up remained immersed in fuel and I will need to replace. If it repeats, plan b.
Any thoughts?
