Hi there.
I would like to determine best course of action regarding the 4130 strapped lower wing spars on a set of custom wings with douglas fir spars on an Experimental Pitts S2.
Should the 4 holes in the butt spars be bushed? Perhaps only the wing attach location on each spar? None at all?
I have what i presume is an S1 drawing (attached) which shows all four bolts bushed with 4130. I also note many are not bushed. I have read previous posts without a conclusion.
To bush or not to bush, that is the question! :)
