    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Originally this was posted on the Pitts forum but thought a Skybolt builder might also have the answer?

So hey what spinner do you guys use on an IO-360 Lyc
with three hole piper type nose bowl with a fixed pitch propeller?
Specifically the distance between the starter ring and the back of the
prop? Do you use a prop spacer? and if so what kind of lengths and
what kind of props and especially what kind of spinner? Does one use,
say for a 13" spinner. Also if it is going to be used for aerobatics how long should the spacer be without incurring a lot of stress on the C/S Flange?
