All the talk about stringer stand-offs got me curious as to the weight difference between the two designs; the plans stand-off and the Mac stand-off.

I did a quick experiment. I made up a plans stand-off (actually just cut the parts out,) Mac design stand-off and a modified Mac stand-off (with lightening holes.) Weighed all three on a postal scale at work.


Survey says:
- Plans stand-off: .6 oz
- Mac stand-off: .7 oz
- modified Mac stand-off: .6 oz


Just an FYI for someone wanting to know the weight of both designs.
