Hello,

Being relatively new to open cockpit/biplane flying, I have come across an issue that seems to have a variety of opinions. My question to the more experienced of you,...is it necessary/ desirable to have a static port connection to your airspeed with an open cockpit ? My A&P friend insists it is, but could use some advice on this.

Cheers....Geoff
