I'm thinking about purchasing the Steen Canopy setup, as I think with my airplane I would be able to convert the airplane between canopy (winter!) and Open Cockpit (Summer!) "rather easily" (in airplane terms).

The airplane is currently open cockpit and don't want to lose that option, but the extra 20mph on really long cross country flights (and the higher cruising altitude without freezing... as much...) seems appealing.

Anyone have any experience with it and/or have any comments/thoughts?

Thanks!
