    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

In the process of studying my skybolt plans. Want to build the 3-piece top wing and will hopefully be starting the wing ribs this winter. I'm an experienced woodworker so will start with the wings. Don't know how to weld so may look at buying a completed fuselage at some point. I've enjoyed reading the posts from the other viewers. I'm a corporate pilot with 8000+ flight hours. I instructed in a Great Lakes many years ago and have around 700-800 hours of tail dragger time. Thanks for letting me be involved in your forum.
