I did a short cross country over to Mackinaw Island (MI) yesterday. It was really fun. Glen Olsen built this wonderful machine and flew with his wife all over the country with it. Stacy and I are now picking up where he and Loretta left off. I hope in 20 years some other couple gets to go next. No acro yesterday, but still plenty of fun. There were a few very high end GA guys on the ramp wanting a ride, and a few horse and buggy carriage groups stopped on the perimeter road to wave goodbye.
