    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hey all, Just joined the forum and am looking for some input from everyone smarter than I. What I am thinking of doing is building a lighter version of the Acroduster II fuselage and using the wings from the V-Star. I am not interested in a full blown acro machine but rather just a basic fun to fly machine that will do so on modest power. The thought being that 141sq. ft. of Clark Y airfoil would give good performance with 125-150hp if the gross could be kept to 1450lbs. Any thoughts welcome. Regards, Dana LaBounty
