Hello ![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Looking at the turtle deck construction, Plywood or sheet metal are options.
However I do like the look of stringers with fabric stretched over it like the Hatz Biplane and need the groups input.
Consideration of weight, durability compared to the sheetmetal or Plywood.
Is this considered a structural change of the design that would weaken the integrity of the airframe?
Aluminum stringers verses wooden? I recall reading in the forum of the concern of wooden javelin -like splinters coming forward during a sudden deacceleration .
What do you think?
Thank you.
