    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hi everyone

New to the forum as a member, I'm in the process of 'restoring' a Skybolt here in the UK. She was imported to the UK from the states around 1994/96 and was in storage for a while. Registration was N46294 serial No SB-1990 built by James Brown (not the funk master !) This is a ground up restoration.....been at it a couple of years now, thought it would be a simple task. Will post some photos of progress and I have no doubt I will
also have a few questions. Long shot question, anyone have any history of this aircraft?
