I recently joined the E-A/B biplane ranks after 37 years in turbine (military) and production aircraft flying. Found a nice Skybolt and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I bought the thing. Now, I'd like to take some friends up for a spin (literally), but, even with a full bag of gas, I'm running into CG problems (I'm about 1.5" too far aft). Much of it may probably be due to the new lightweight composite prop that had recently been installed just before I purchased it. Other than mounting the battery on the firewall, getting a lighter-weight tail wheel, going on a crash diet (I weigh 240 lbs and I'd like to carry a 220-lb passenger) or, heaven forbid, buying another CS prop to replace the composite, does anyone else out there have suggestions as to how to move the CG forward on these Skybolts? Thanks.
