    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I came across this video of the "Superflite Stitch

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rneWclUSONw

The starter stitch is at the 3:30 mark and appers to be nothing more than a square knot. The regular stitch is around the 5:00 mark. I tried it, seems to go very fast and easy to get tight, but feels like it is missing something. I am trying to figure out if it is the same knot as the Staggerwing stitch as shown at the 6:35 mark in this video:

I have an easy time with the Staggerwing one to do tight stitches, the Superflite one looks even easier, but feels like it is too easy.

Anyone use this or have thoughts about it?
