    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Tim Barrow, the owner of this beautiful, unique French Stampe biplane put the restoration project on hold while I recovered from my accident. Mind you, I’m but a tiny part of the KCVB Castroville, Texas restoration team. With Tim’s lead, Randy Smith, Dave Heberle, David Ortega and so many others have helped bring this beautiful biplane back to flying condition. I so much look forward to dancing in the clouds with this one.
This is a video from the week; we have since adjusted the timing and a few other things to get the 4P03 sounding great. When Tim initially told me about this project, I wasn't overly excited about a French biplane. However, it quickly grew on me and now I deeply admire this plane.
Won’t be long before it’s airborne.
