    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Greetings from Catalunya (Spain)

I am an amateur pilot and builder of ultralight aircraft (European ULM category). My first construction was a TEAM HiMax lugo came a Pionner 200 and for several years I work professionally in aeronautical construction.

I think it's time to think about my next personal project. I would like to ask your advice to choose a good biplane that meets these characteristics.

Light single seater
Golden years aesthetic
Not necessarily acrobatic
Docil for low and slow flight
Steel fuselage and wooden wings

My candidates:

Gere Spot
Rose Parrakeet
EAA Biplane (lightened)
Smith mini plane

I wish to read your opinions.

Thank you
