    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Gday all,This is probably more for the Australians on site, though all comments are welcome, but why is it that if you buy a tig machine in the US one usually gets a foot controller thrown in or if not they can be purchased for around $250. I recently Bought a CIG 200 amp acdc tig welder for $1550,no pedal! When I got a quote to buy one they wanted $ 870 for a controller for that machine. Now the question is ,as long as I know the number of pins for the pedal plug can I buy from the US and have it work.I would like some input please. Cheers Ross
