Was looking thru the S2B parts manual and noticed the aileron push-pull tubes attach to a separate horn on each side of the torque tube. Most other torque tubes I've seen have just one horn on top or bottom where both aileron push-pull tubes attach.

I would think this would change the leverage of the control stick to be less sensitive in mid position compared to the more common setup. Sounds like a desirable thing?

Any comments or experience on pros & cons of one vs. the other?

I don't know how to get the pic here but its figure 21 near the bottom of the parts manual at this link: http://gillaviation.com/Pitts_S-2B_files/S2BPartsCatalog.pdf
