So I know the answer everyone on this forum is going to give...give budd davidson or someone 3000 dollars for a pitts transition course...I don't have it to give. I'm in the Army as an EOD tech and spent the last four years deployed, and the entire time I dreamed of buying a Pitts. I have enough for the pitts but I'm wondering with extensive ground training is it absolutley necessary for transition training? If so, I'll wait around, but It just seems that curtis didn't have transition time, and he was just fine. I've got 30+ hours in a super D and have never struggled landing it in the least. I know the visibility and resposiviness will be completely different, i'm just wondering if its possible to fly an 135hp S1C without two hole transition time? Thanks for any advice.
