Bud Lyon from Idaho bought an Acroduster One project and is up to the point of his first flight. He has a lot of tailwheel time but none in biplanes. So Since I have an Acroduster One he contacted me for information and to ask about necessary skill sets. I said the only way to know was to have him come down to Chico and fly for a weekend in my Starduster Too and I would help give him some transition training. Well he came down this weekend and did well. He can now land and take off for the front seat with adequate control doing slips, 3-points and wheel landings. We also did some basic aerobatics to get him into the groove as well as the whole spin series. I look forward to hearing about his first flight in his new Acroduster One soon.
