    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I hate to ask this question. I know 95% of the replies will not be based in legal validity. But here goes. Now that I am 80 years old with minimal flying experience, I can not get insurance with me as PIC on my Acro Sport II. I can still obtain coverage on my Kitfox. I have a quote for an experienced pilot to be PIC in my Acro Sport II.
What are the ramifications and particulars of placing the plane in a trust in an attempt to limit liability with me as PIC?
