I bought these old lantern slides ... glass-plate positives.... a while back.

I have spent a great deal of time tying to identify the wreck but have come up NO JOY!

Any ideas?

I have a gut feeling it is a US wreck of a Caproni Ca. 4. Circa 1917-1919.

But I cant ID it.

See my page here:

There is something about the treeline, the lack of markings, and the fact that the lantern slides came from SW Ohio, I think it may be a US wreck of a Caproni.

HELP!
