The plans call for (4) AN5-6A bolts to attach the two upper wing sections
together. This length bolt looks about right to capture two wing attach
brackets, a shim, washer, nut, and still leave a few threads showing.

The problem is that I cannot fit an AN5-6A bolt in there since the butt of the
wing spar is in the way.

What is currently on the plane is a threaded stud with a nut and washer on
either side. Since there are no identifying marks on the stud I am inclined to
replace it.

Does anyone know if there are AN5 equivalent (or better) MS or NAS spec'd studs.

Thanks,
Glenn
