Beej's post about his new prop got me thinking (again) about having a prop made for the 300hp Jake. I'm thinking of a wood prop.

I briefly spoke to Valley Engineering (through email years ago) and they said that they hadn't made a prop that large (approx. 8') but thought that they could do it. I would need to speak to Gene about the specifics.

They sounded like a good bunch. Has anyone had any experience with Valley ?

thanks
