Has anyone fitted the Vans tailwheel "chain" on an S1? It might be called "Tail Lynx"?

I had a chain clip fail a few months ago at the end of a Tarmac landing with pretty dramatic consequences. I don't want to go there again and I like the engineering quality of the Vans arrangement. Any feedback would be v.useful! Thanks Phil
