VMS 1000 help

Hi friends!

I have a Vision Micro System 1000 (engine monitor system) that has gone dark with no warning…
Looking at various aeronautical forum it seems to be a common problem. I wonder if here at BF there is any knowledge about the issue.

I have been told that there is a guy in the Vans RV forum that fixes it. Since JPI (the owner of VMS now) does not support the item any more I need to find someone who can fix it.

Can anybody offer some help about this?
