Let me start by saying I don't know much about wiring or designing an electrical system, but I've pieced together enough information to come up with a simple design for my EAA Biplane (I think). Now for my questions about voltage regulators...

1 - Do all automotive regulators have over voltage protection?
2 - If yes, is there a particular that is better/recommended for aircraft use?
3 - Does anybody know anything about this regulator I found online (see attached picture)?

Thanks y'all!

Chad
