Well a good friend of mine that I grew up with is a premier diver at Lake Travis. He called yesterday and he was hired to go down and check the Waco out to figure out a plan. He asked where to hook up to so they could lift the plane out. It was not very deep and was basically in front of a boat ramp. We talked about getting the plane back in its 3 point attitude first. We thought it was a good idea to hook up to the tailwheel with a wrecker/winch and just pull it up the boat ramp. I guess they decided to lift it out instead. I wonder where the airplane will go now???
