    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hi, my name is Erik Stier and I live in the Alpena MI. area where I keep my 1977 Fixed Gear Cessa Cardinal. It's a great plane, but not terribly exciting. I have about 3 hours in a Skybolt, but that was in 1999 with no conventional gear time since then (going for EMT at Red Stewart Field in Ohio in a few weeks). I am looking for a project, preferrably partially started, and a lot of advice (engine size, landing gear etc.). I have two great Pitts pilots (one is a AP/IA/CFI) as friends who would help in the project (I think, haven't asked yet). Anyone in my area? Anyone with a project they are interested in selling? Thanks for your help, I'm looking forward to a lot of fun.
