I am still looking for a prop for my Pitts S2B. The Hartzell prop on it has a life of 2000 hrs and then it has to be taken out of service. A new one from Hartzell is very pricy but the MT is at a reasonable price, just that there is a waiting list for them. I had feed back from two members, who have props, but they either have run more than 2000 hrs, or there is no trace of the hours flown on the other one.
I know that a lot of S2B owners have replaced the props with the MT three blade prop, so maybe there are a few Hartzell ones available.
