I've searched the archives and can't find an answer. I would think a Pitts, Smith Mini or EAA bipe would be similar.
How about some weight estimates on the lightest paint job on my SA-100. Obviously this would be after a complete recover.
I did find some references stating the 3.7 fabric would use the least paint.
I would think silver with minimum trim would be the lightest color combo. I know, not the prettiest choice but a 1930's style could look nice.
I am determined to hit the 740 pounds empty weight stated on the plans. I've already stripped over 160 pounds off of the old girl. Empty weight at time of original flight was 940 pounds.
