Finally got my hands on the OA rig in my welding class last night. This is my fifth attempt at welding with filler rod, using cheap mild steel filler rod on a mild steel 16 ga butt weld.

Mostly, it's nice to see that I was able to get a handle on the process so quickly. Best not to speak about my inside corner weld, though. (The blot early in the weld is where the other student's torch was turned on, screwing up my mixture.)
