    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Have an opportunity to take on a starduster project. I have restored two cubs and built a carbon cub so I think I have an idea of what I’m getting into.

From my understanding it is a factory welded fuselage. My concerns are the Cessna style gear and the bolt on fittings for the cabane V. I didn’t have a chance to measure the engine mount.

Wings are built up but in climate controlled storage. They need leading edges and the quality looks good. Didn’t get a chance to get pictures of them today.

If you guys can point out anything good or bad you see I would appreciate it.

Mike
