I found one of my wheel pants was loose. When I took it off, I found this broken plug in the axle. I can't seem to find anything like it online. What should I call it? Where can I find one? Should I consider a different material like aluminum? My first reaction was surprised that it was made of plastic, but then it occurred to me that probably a better failure point than the pant itself. I'll appreciate any help. The plane is down for annual anyway so no rush.
