I have 5 x 5.00 Aero Classic tires and a set of Sam James wheel pants. It looks like about 3/4" all around clearance (sides, front and rear) is about right. (Mark 1 eyeball)

Just wondering if that is enough clearance. I will be flying off of grass in the future. Don't want to make the clearance so big that a small rock could get stuffed in there or too tight and a tire might rub.

What do the Vans- RV types do may be another way to ask this.

Thanks,

John H.
