    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

We are not too far away from building our battery mount behind the seat and are trying to figure out what size is appropriate for our needs. We will be installing the best 540 Lycosaurus we can afford with modest electronics, night VFR lights and no glass panel! The plane will be hangared in a reasonably warm climate here in Northern CA. We want to stick with a 12 volt system.

Those of you that have flying planes with 540s, what is your pic- will a 25 amp Concorde be enough or should we go for the larger 35amp or something else?

cheers,
Jim
