I'm interested in getting a laser level as I start my wing build. I picked up a novelty line laser ($27 at the mediocre-tools hardware store) knowing it wasn't the right thing, and sure enough. Cute toy, but not bright enough to be visible unless I turn off all the lights and the day is dark.

Which lasers are you guys using? Are they self-leveling? How do you typically mount them? Is having a cross laser (vs just a line) a worthwhile thing? There are many choices available, and it'd be nice to get one and done.
