Hi Folks,
I would just like to know if you folks think that my observations here are on the right track.
Here one can see the interior of the wings is visible due to damage:
Here's a detail of the image above showing the nose section of a rib. It appears as if one of the side-pieces has been torn off.
At first we built the upper wing nose pieces like this:
However, looking at the historic image of the rib nose-piece it seems to me as if they looked like this:
It is not a strong construction but it is very light. Is this similar to any of the constructions known here? Or rather: has anybody seen anything like this or anything similar to this?
Any input is appreciated.
