I am trying to decide between a lay-up compound curve type wing root fairing or flat aluminum type fairing. The former I know will take some time, but the return in looks alone seem to suggest it would be worth it. I was thinking a fiberglass lay up.
The aluminum seems like it would be quick and easy.
Anyone have any thoughts on the cost/ benefits of each or methods/techniques of fabrication?
