    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have the ribs in place but not yet permanently attached to the spars. I also have the ailerons rough clamped in proper position. Should I begin permanently gluing the ribs into position from the center working my way out to each end of the spars or is their a better way to begin this assembly? Also, the book speaks of using trammel points to establish a squarness. I am no sure what they are saying. Any suggestions or directions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Phil
