I am rigging the tail feathers presently and I am pondering using a strut (0.50 x .035 Round) instead of the wires on the lower/forward Horizontal Stab to fuse. I see where others have done this as well. I see variants of the streamline vs. the round tubing at that location. I see some ends of the strut are "crimped" atattach pointversus a weldable rod end fitting at the opposing end.
Any thoughts on strut vs. wires at that location?
