    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Anyone have a O/A setup they want to part with? I need to weld a couple things and want a decent torch to learn with. I've never welded O\A only done some mig and played with a tig a couple times. I guess I've also done some arc welding on jigs and such but will basically be starting fresh. Let me know what you have or at least what I should stay away from. I was thinking of the Smith AW1A torch with what size tip for most .035-.071 wall 4130 tube? Any and all recommendations welcome.
