or a similar dipole antenna mounted in the wings? I have read much about dipoles and realize they should be mounted vertically. I reread the antenna chapter in "The Aero Connection" by Bob Nuckolls. Still, Advanced Air claim they get reasonable results mounted to a wood wing spar. It sure would be nice to bury antennas in the wings for appearance sake and less drag.
So, has anyone on this forum actually used these? It will be a while before we have to make this decision but curiosity has gotten to me.
