OK, I purchased a 2 place Acroduster 2 canopy a while back from a forum member for my Tu-holer. Then Marcia said she was ambivalent about it, liked open cockpit and only wanted to fly when it was nice so I put it on the back burner....

Anyway, my original intention was for a sliding canopy. I found a relatively inexpensive set of 48" drawer slides and ordered them. When they arrived I couldn't lift the %$#@@# box! The shipping was free so I didn't note the weight but they must be 10# each. NO WAY!

I searched off/on all day and couldn't find anything but "HEAVY DUTY"/heavy weight slides over 30" long.

Does anyone have an idea for something lighter? The acruride? slides used for the S1 Pitts would work if they made that style/size longer.

Thanks.

Jack
